Our Mentoring Program
As an organization that has targeted women and teen girls, we have recently decided to start a mentoring program for young men and women ages 11-18. Our Movement Mentoring Program includes a one-on-one mentoring program to assist parents and schools with guiding young boys and girls in the right direction or helping them continue their path towards greatness. The teenage years are amongst the hardest time we will go through in our lives. It is the age where our body grows, our emotions become stronger, and we gain the ability to think on our own. It is also the time when someone can be easily influenced and succumbs to the actions of those around them.
We want to surround our youth with POSITIVITY, PURPOSE, and PASSION!
The Troubled Movement, Inc. has dedicated its efforts to leading the youth of our community. We use the following techniques to reach our goal:
We listen! We are here to hear you. We do not judge or discriminate against anyone.
We are faith-based! Most of our lessons, events, and activities incorporate spiritual enrichment. The Troubled Movement was built on the testimony of our founder, who was once troubled teen.
Purpose, plan, and pursue! We help teens and young adults create a goal(s) that they can work on both during and after our mentoring sessions.
We’ve been there! Every one of our staff members, mentors, and even the Founder has been through tragedy. We have overcome adversity repeatedly. We have been equipped with the ability to teach others how to do so as well. What better way to learn than from someone who’s been there?
